I also found a low lying area with a lot of underbrush. Big deer tracks everywhere like a super highway for them.

I got deep into this honeysuckle patch and could smell cat piss for a minute knowing I’m far away from any strays.

I left my phone in the car. I went deep. I was wading when the Otter appeared downstream and really caught me off gaurd. (Scared the hell out of me really). Then he went back across the stream and dissappeared in a log jamb bank thingy prob lives there. That’s the first Otter I’ve ever seen not in my backyard. The deer tracks were pretty close to the road but a good spot a a couple hundred yards from the road easy flat drag. Nice draw coming off the ridge.

It’s a “Passage”. Hence “Passage Creek”!

I can get there in a hour and fifteen minutes. You can feel the change in elevation when you get near. It’s nice. Should be one more stocking. It’s the George Washington National Forest. I got a $4. Stamp.:) I didn’t see a sole. Except some climbers at the parking area had helmets on and everything.

I roll down the rock face at 5am without a light. I can’t even see where I’m casting. Then all the trout go under rocks and hide all day.

This Otter was like fifty pounds. And kicked up a big wake like a shark. You can trap them here in season.

Hey I was pleasantly surprised today! Last night the drive belt broke on my 20 year old garage door opener. That’s obviously not the good news. What was amazing is that I was able to get the part number from the manufacturers website chat system in under 5 minutes. I was greeted by the typical chat bot, asked my question (I have a 4a5021-5e. I need a new belt. What is the part number please.) The bot was smart enough to know it didn’t know, handed me off to a real person, and I had what I needed in less time than it took to type this. I’m flabbergasted.

My 30 year old Whirlpool oven element caught fire the other day. Went to a Whirlpool website I’ve used before and put in the model. $75 later it’s ordered.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Well, I tried, and LO! It turns out I CAN drive my truck with my fake right leg on! I just have to be careful about how hard I push on the gas and brake. Mainly a matter of learning how "how hard" feels. It went much better than I thought it would, though.

Now, it's just a matter of chugging around my housing development at 15 MPH, steep up/down hills, gentle hills, etc, until I get everything JUST right. Then, it's on to the paved roads outside the development. Stages. Very important.

I will say thank goodness for cruise control that works, even down at very low speeds! Not to mention anti-lock brakes :)

By winter, I'll be all over the place!
    See y'all!
    Pat☺
