I have been over analyzing suspension setups like everyone has done at one time or another. And have a scenario that I am only asking because I am ignorant in suspension systems and full of common sense... A dangerous combination! lOl

If take the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts and shocks they give the same part number for the model I have which is a 2007 T4R SR5 RWD, and the 2007 Ltd. V8 4WD. So could I take these struts and shocks and put the 4WD springs and coils on the RWD v6 (only 400lbs difference in models)
The reason I think this will work (remember common sense) is the coils and springs specs are as follows and are not that unsimilar with expection of length.

OEM SR5 v6 RWD Spring and Coil vs. Ltd v8 4WD

    Front
Part No. Diameter Length Rate (lbs. per Inch)
    OEM T4R 0.63 13.58 580
    Ltd 4WD v8 0.67 14.31 595

    Rear
    OEM T4R 0.59 14.17 180
    Ltd 4WD v8 0.61 14.14 191

Should this not give me about a 1.5" (+ .87 on Bilstien 5100) in the front using the v8 4WD coil... and stock on the rear (maybe a 1/2-3/4" due to the extra 11 lbs per inch Rate)

What am I missing here? besides knowledge of suspension systems... LoL

Thank you all for your input!
