I believe they are 8” wide. No trimming necessary or heat gun testament. The 2.5” lift and off-road front bumper took care of that need so I’m no help to you there. Sorry. I did get some positive caster on the front wheels with a recent alignment. Had to talk the shop into doing it. No more rubbing but it does pull a little bit to the left now. Still not super happy about the whole set up but glad not to have the rubbing any longer!

Hi everyone, so glad i found this Thread. I too am experiencing this on an 04 V8 sport with Bilstein lift and Nitto Grappler LT 285/70/r17s. For me it "looks" like it's hitting the right front stabilizer bar but hard to tell. I plan to take to the shop that did the tires, and they did do a full alginement again, but some here are saying the caster should be at 4 degrees? My settings final were Caster 2.8 LF, 3.1 RF Camber .1LF -.1 RF. I'm hoping this can be dealt with with a better alignment? I'm just slightly upset the 4 wheel place did not test this before with a drive in a circle.

Well it turns out there were 1” spacers on the rig I bought. The alignment shop did not inform me that they were on there nor did the person I purchased it from. They made it look badass but we’re also the cause of the rubbing. I took it to a wheels and tire place and they let me know they were on there. Once removed (which they did for free! Love those guys now) it solved the rubbing issue and a few others issues also.

So for me, it turns out since I was being frugal and kept the stock wheels, the nittos ended up being just a hair wider and the wheel offset wasn’t enough so was hitting the sway bar. I just ordered 1.25 in spacers and getting a body chop. Guaranteed to solve the issue from what my shop is saying after doing a ton of these.
