Hi guys my name is Kevin. I've owned my 2016 TE for a little over a year now and absolutely love it! Proud to be part of the 4runner family.

lol I couldn't sell it to anyone comfortably. The frame was slowly getting worst when I traded it in and Toyota wouldn't replace my frame because it "passed" there recall inspection. Needless to say I was always underneath it scraping away rust layer at a time and spraying fluid film on it to make it last. It wasn't worth it to me anymore, i did get 10 grand for it from a different dealer. It's a shame cause the truck was mint everywhere else with just under 120,000 miles. Ugh that was great truck though!

:canada:Welcome aboard Kevin. You've got a great looking 4R there. But what does TE stand for?
It's not a term we have up here in Canada. Anyway, try to keep the tin side clean and the rubber side on the road, and enjoy many 1,000s of carefree miles. - Cheers, Ted

I got by 4R about a month ago. Same good looking silver but a stock SR5. I also have a Tacoma that I couldn't give up since I am so attached to it. Its a 2002 prerunner with nearly 200K. Runs like a top. Congrats on your purchase but IMHO you should have held on to the Taco.

Thanks Karl! Congrats on yours too!! SILVER all the way lol. I was very attached to my truck too! My initial plan was just like yours actually, I wanted to keep the Tacoma and get an SR5. But with rust taking over the frame on it and the dealer offering 10 grand I couldn't pass it up and ended up handing her over. That's why I just opted for the trail edition. Wish I could of gotten a trd pro but it was out of my price range. O well life goes on haha.

:canada:Thanks Kevin. Up here in Canuckland, we simply call it a Trail, not TE, so that was my confusion.
