I have read hours of details trying to get the best info on the best Leveling/Lift setup I can.

First, thank you all who have providing such great info on the subject.

My question is regarding the FJ Coils and Bilstien setup on a 4th Gen SR5 2WD does it matter if the coils/springs came off a FJC or can you purchase the Moog replacement coils/springs from Advanced Auto or some other retailer? I can't think of why (other than cost) this would make a difference?

    Also, can a 2WD use the FJ or 4Runner "4x4" coils/springs for a longer spring? (3/4")

Any and all input is welcome! Thank you all in advance....

Here is a great compiled spec of springs/coils found on another forum site...

3 inch lift, 33 inch tires, and lots of DAY stuff cause I'm cheap.
On my 4th gen I used a set of 5th gen front struts to level out the sag, it's a V8. Then I neglected to install the rears because it sat perfectly level and I was pleased.

I also have a 3rd gen that's on the old 4th gen springs on a 03 tundra 5100 shocks. On the rear and I have 04 FJ springs and shocks, and since I had the 5th gen springs left over I compared them to the FJ springs and the FJ springs were larger so I left them in my 3rd gen.

I do know for a fact that the FJ and the 5th gen 4runner springs are interchangeable on the 4th gen. I just kept it like it was because I got the look I wanted.
