    Hi all!

I obtained a 2023 4runner ORP in Dec of 2022. Been searching for one for a while with KDSS! Finally found one for retail and as soon as my salesperson told me it’s available I drove 3 hours away and picked her up. Haven’t had the chance to post anything but thanks to all on the forums as the information helped me tremendously. I have changed my mind so many times on what I should do to the car with the endless modifications available. I went thru the phase of wanting to change my exterior to resemble a pro, I even bought pro wheels the first week of ownership but ended up selling them lol.

    Mod list:
    Ironman stage 1 FCP
    BFG KO2 285/70/17
    SCS SR8 17x8.5

Wheels were a takeoff and gift from my brother, couldn’t pass! On to the pictures. A3248F29-5E63-4EC6-BC62-BEBBC63B9329.jpg3B5928D6-0AE2-429F-88D4-8FEBEC4F1EDB.jpg 4654CD6C-F75E-46AF-B2FE-526B72865102.jpg

edit* also have oem wheels and tires if anyone is interested - located cen cal

nice! No UCA yet, I got an alignment today and was able to get good numbers, don’t know if I’ll need an UCA right now but if I do I will be getting an adjustable one in the future.

The ride home was actually terrifying, there was so much fog that I couldn’t even see the dividers to the lane next to me, would never do that again

That sounds a bit like the day I took my test drive. Over three hours to drive to the dealer, a 45-minute test drive, and another three-plus hour drive back home... all in off-and-on white-out blizzard conditions. That was in the middle of March after weeks of warm, mild weather. Just my luck.

Nice ride! I plan to get the kdss clamps and sway bar end links as well. Question, why the need for the treaty oak spacer?

The front spacer fixes the KDSS lean, the rear ones give you a little more travel for better articulation

How high is your lift? How much lean?
I got the rear spacers and didn’t put any spacer up front. I have about 1/2 difference and leaning to passenger side

3 inch lift, and I probably have just about the same amount of lean. Dr.KDSS used to sell the spacers too, but he had a falling out with black gate customs and told everyone to go with the treaty oak spacer lol.

Let me know your experience when you install the spacer, would like to know if it fixes the lean. I’ve seen people get spacers top mount on shocks or springs for the rear but not looking to go that route lol.

The spacer goes right on the front passenger side sway bar and then the other 2 on the rear cylinder and rear sway bar. I’m in 35s so I figured getting the KDSS system to near stock angles would be beneficial. But I’ll let you know.

drkdss end adapters we’re designed without the use of a drop spacer. drop spacer with the drkdss end adapters pushes the sway bar too far forward and negates the angle correction.

Would you recommend I only install the spacers on the rear sway bar and rear cylinder?

rear drop spacers are all good. for the front it’s either drop spacer or the end adapters.

my 4R leans to the drivers side if i haven’t did any trails recently. once i get a good session kdss tends to balance itself and the lean goes away. i have yet to install the drkdss control harness which can be used to help with kdss lean.

This is true, when driving in harsh conditions I do see the lean go away or correct itself, my passenger side is almost even now. Idk if it’s because the suspension is settling from my initial install (about a week) or the system is balancing itself.
