My name is James. I owned a 4Runner several years ago and ended up giving it to my middle son. We live in GA and the A/C went out on his jeep. He needed A/C. The vehicle had close to 300K when I gave it to him. He sold it a couple of years later to a guy that was moving out west. That guy changed out the head gasket. The vehicle is still running strong. (They keep in touch.)
A couple of days ago I put a deposit down on a 2000 4Runner. I did a google search, found a couple of forums and this one looked like it be the one to join. I also own a 86 FJ60. I've been a member there since 2007. I'm excited to learn more about the capabilities of the 4runner. Hopefully, I'll contribute more than I receive. I'll take photos when I take delivery.
Life is like a trail - ups & downs, smooth, rough, dusty, clean, and of course, there's mud holes...I try not to panic. I've learned If you take one mud hole at a time things usually work out.

Congrats and welcome to the forum. Good buddy of mine bought a new 1989 Fj60 back in 89. We had some fun rode trips in that Rig, Excellent vehicle. Enjoy the new 4runner.
