    Hi all,

I've noticed many different companies are selling these kits. Not sure which one to go with.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks

Out of the 5000 different kits out there, there are really only 4-5 different makers... And not much different between them all anyways. Pick one. If you go on the cheaper side, just make sure its a reputable sales place that will help you in the event of a failure.

I use these when I convert my DRL to a highbeam. I'm using only 2 of them (since I only want to have DRL for the sake of it if there is any law for it)
Recently I have notice 1 or 2 of leds on each flickering. I'm running off a wire tap from the cigarette lighter, not using the INJ fuse. So this post if for you to avoid this brand.

Also following this thread if any one has a good set that is running for years even after splashing water (Including high pressure car washes) and snow.

Even better if there is a wire harness (that doesn't require to remove the bumper and headlight) for 2021 bi-led 4runners to run both DRL and Highbeam.

Where does everyone tap in for Raptor Light power? I used the EFI-2 spot but lights would randomly turn on. The add-a-fuse wasn't low profile enough to use another port and the harness wasn't long enough to get to the cabin through the firewall. I was trying to avoid adding wire and another connection.

It will enhance the visibility of your vehicle off road and in bad weather conditions. That's really what they are useful for, like marker lights.

I don't have them, though cool looking. I would rather be stealthy.

fixed viability to visibility. thx Zap. ;)

They are clearance markers that indicate your vehicle is wider than 80” to oncoming traffic (like truckers). They are required on any vehicle wider than 80”, hence their requirement on the Raptor, which has wider set wheels than the non-SVT F-150 brother. They’re often located on top of the cab in older/other trucks, but for the SVT, Ford wanted to do something unique to the Raptor. I upgraded my fog lights for better visibility in inclement weather, as I didn’t think tiny markers would help much, but I’d be glad to be proven wrong :)

    I think it’s really just cosmetic on a 4Runner.
