Purchased some new oil filters online and when I opened one first instinct was a fake so returned them, ordered more from Toyota dealer online and they were the same. Has anyone else noticed this? Just weirded me out because I was used to the yellowish color and a part# between the folds. IMG_20230322_193856910.jpg IMG_20230322_193808762_HDR.jpg

I would like to paint our Runner that color.

The one I used the other day looked just like that. It came from a dealer, so I'm pretty sure it's legit.

Honestly, even store brand filter will do as long as you change them regularly.

I like the look of the orange one better - more noticeable folds in the thing. That opinion has no research behind it and I'm still going to use the 8 filters I have left before ordering more, but from one internet stranger to another: the new ones look better, and thanks for posting.
