    I first bought a 1996 4Runner to build, thread here: https://www.4runners.com/threads/mobtown-offroads-96-t4r-build-thread.1790/#post-29617

After diving in to it there was much more wrong with just a seized motor so I sold it to a friend that wanted a project. Since I sold it, he got it up and running and is now driving it.

    On to better things...

I since picked up a 1997 4Runner. Same color, options, 1 owner truck, all the paperwork since day 1. This one had 274k on it when I bought it. Interior and exterior weren't as clean as my first one but still in good shape. Small rust spot on the chassis on the outside face behind the driver side front tire, no big deal.

List of what has been done since I bought it.

    Preventative:

Replaced front and rear sway bar end links and bushings
    Replaced UBJ and LBJ
    Replaced Tie Rod Ends
    Flushed all fluids
Replaced all A/C components and recharged
    Fixed Rust in chassis
    New Exhaust
    Replaced Both Halfshafts

    Fun Stuff:
    285/75-16 Load E BFG KO2's
    Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers
Mobtown Front Plate Bumper - Powder Coated
Mobtown Weld On Sliders - Powder Coated
Bilstein 5100's and Old Man EMU Coils
Upgraded Front Brakes to the '06 Tundra Brakes
    JBA Offroad UCA's
    Onboard Fire Extinguisher
    Caliraised Ditch Lights

    Future Stuff:
Mobtown Rear Plate Bumper w/ Dual Swingout - Powder Coated
Mobtown Skid Plates - Powder Coated
    Mobtown Roof Rack

    Dreams:
    4.7 V8 Swap
    SAS
    37" Tires
    Modest Exo Cage
