This June my wife and I are going to ROMP festival in Owensboro, we can extend our trip a day or two on either end. So, is there anything we should put on the list to see. And is there any dirt road/off road ways we can take. We don’t mind getting off the highway and slowing the journey down.

    Thanks for any info.

    If you hear banjos, run!!

J/k. I've never been to KY, but the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green and some distilleries would be on my shortlist.

I’m going for the banjos. I had figured a distillery on the way out, but now that I think About it, I may try for a distillery on the way in and then I got some for the bluegrass festival.

The vette museum is a possibility, depending which direction we end up.

Medley and Green River Distilling are located in Owensboro. You have about a 1.5 hour drive to get to Bardstown where there are a good number distilleries located. Bowling Green is straight south an hour away and is easy to get to if you wanted to do the Corvette museum. Everyone says go to Moonlite for BBQ but to me Old Hickory is much better.
