I have a 2020 TRD OFF Road that I use 99% on the road just for a daily driver. I need new rear pads and if I need rotors, should I go drilled and slotted? please provide what you used and your experience. Thx.

    Welcome.
To answer the question, just regular street driving probably not needed. Mine are just cuz they were less expensive at the time. But definitely not needed.

The slots and holes are designed to dissipate heat and gasses from hard high speed breaking. So unless you drive your truck on the autobahn daily, kinda overkill. Put the extra money into good solid pads and quality solid rotor.

Nope. Slotted maybe if you had a blower but they can trap debris. Just buy OEM and bed them in properly.

I have drilled and slotted. They haven't filled with lava or murdered my family yet. From my uses they haven't done anything vastly different than the OEM's I used to have.

They do look cool though
