    285/75/16 COURIER MXT
Hi all, just signed in as a new member. I read some of your forums regarding the TRD PRO dealer mark ups. I’m currently on my 3rd Toyota Tacoma. I have owned two TRD OFF ROADS and loved them all. I just purchased a 2023 TRD PRO in Solar Octane and love it!! All I did was replace my 265/70/16 with 285/75/16 MXT mud terrain and wow!! What a difference the appearance made. I love the new black TRD rims and I don’t plan on adding any additional mods. I will say that there are TRD PROS out there and yes most are reserved, but I wasn’t giving up that easy. I called every dealer I could in Washington and in parts of Oregon only to be told they were reserved,but... I called one more dealer here locally and they had one on there lot that was still for sale after 30 days. Now, what are the odds, my guess is because they had a $10,000 mark up which is crazy!! I worked with the sales man and After about an hour I got my truck I wanted and not only did I not have to pay the $10,000 mark up but I got the truck at MSRP at just over $51k I believe the mark up is what kept it on the lot so long. I can say my other two Toyota Tacoma’s had lifts tires wheels and exhaust but this PRO pretty much has it all. Either way TRD OFF ROAD OR SR5 there great reliable trucks built to last

Welcome. Timing is everything in life. Many people aren't as persistent as you and will give in to the FOMO mentality, paying a small markup. Great job on getting one! I can't wait until my Solar Octane Pro is here.

Can you clarify your tire mod? Stock tire size on a TRD Pro is 265 70/R17 and not 265 70/R16. Are you running 285 70/R17s or 285 75/R17s on the stock Pro rim? I ask because 285 75/R17 is a 34” tire and with no lift I can’t imagine how you don’t have massive rub. Either way congrats on the new ride and I 100% agree 4Runners are available for MSRP. I got my 2022 pro at MSRP as well!

I'm just going to assume this story is a lie until I see pictures of the new tires.

Also, welcome to the forum. Happy to help you find creative ways to spend your children's inheritance.

OP is talking about a Tacoma. Tacoma Pro comes w/ 16” wheels.

He clarified with the 16” wheel tire size and the $51k msrp. He must have joined the wrong forum.
