Hello I have a 2017 4Runner TRD Pro. Can anybody recommend what type if any additive is good, and would adding an additive void any warranties?

Installed Rago brackets and 4" cube ditch lights. Weather tech mats. Cargo net. Cargo mat. Ordered Gobi rack with ladder.
Stay away from additives. Most of them aren't worth the container that surrounds them.

Thank you. I would imagine if any of these products worked the auto industry would recommend them to prolong the life of the their product. F.Y.I. I talked with a 30 year Toyota mechanic who has his own shop told me never to put any additives in your vehicle. This is my first Toyota he told me routine maintenance your 4Runner will last a very long time.

:canada:Our dealer gives us free oil changes and uses Toyota's synthetic. Not a bad deal at all

I have found the Chevron fuel additive "Techron" to keep carbon from building up in throttle body. So I use one gas treatment at oil changes interval. My 2 cents.

    oh the list....!
ummm, I use Amsoil with oil samples pulled at intervals, and have had Extremely good data, and low maintenance on my 2011 outback 3.6R with now 277K on the clock. regularly running 25-35K between oil changes. My 2017 is about to get the 0-20 Amsoil change (with a factory filter) at about 8k (or less if I get time before). Otherwise, I do not recommend the use of any additives. Just MHO, based on LOTS of years and experience. YMMV.
