its a lot of personal opinion, but i love pretty much any method wheel except the fat five. @LTDSC has method standards in machined finish

I really like the Method Mesh and the Machined Methods at the bottom. Thanks!

i love my machined standards. Black mesh is a badass wheel too.

Who am I to say that these are the best, but I like them, Mamba M14 with Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza 275 60/r18. I bought from Tirerack. I like the Alenzas too. Great in a heavy rain going over the Green Mountains. I'm a moderately aggressive, not obnoxious, driver. Trailing throttle oversteer, left foot braking ( I'm 6'3, so I have to and you chop some time when you're not moving your foot across the pedals). You can cover the break in tight situation. Literally saved my life once when some one ran a stop light).

I bought my 'O6 Limited, FULLY loaded new. 165,000 trouble free dealer maintained miles. One of 3 best ever purchases, which include my 23 year old Homelite weedwacker, and a 20 year old Sears tractor :). And throw in a pair of the original Vicegrips from the fifties.

My one problem with it was the factory option wheels corroded worse than anything you ever saw. They were embarrasing. New Toyota wheels are outrageous, so I looked around for something reasonable. I run Blizzaks in the winter (second home in northern Vermont) and I got to like the murdered out look. I don't do any true offroading, but I do drive gravel roads in northern Vermont winters, with trips to Quebec.
I was thinking about getting a 2016 4R, but said to myself, "why ?" I'm 72 and this damn thing could easily outlast me.

Anyhow, only other mod on it is LED backup lights, installed by Yankee Custom. Waited too long to do it. Love em. Especially when your pulling a boat out of Lake Champlain at night. For you do it yourselfers, they showed me that there is a wiring channel in the tunnel. It opens up right near the fuse box. So no need to cram wires under the sill. They put a nice little rocker switch on the dash (pictured). The lights are "hot" all the time, which I like.

Like many of you, I was a hobby rebuilder for years, mostly Austin Healeys, Jags. I used to race a Bugeye. Then plastic parts came along, hidden snaps, popout fasteners, two hip replacements, torn rotator cuff, the need to wear glasses, and I said screw it ! Take it to the dealer !

Note - first two pixs are the Mambas, third pic is ARC with Blizzaks.

Old retired guys have too much time on their hands.

I just (yesterday) had American Outlaw Dusty Roads installed. Don't care for the center caps, so I will replace them (?). Pics to follow later today!

Getting ready to purchase Wheels for my 4Runner and I just have a general question for anyone that would know the answer. I'm looking at the stealth customs SR8 in the 17-in and I want to run a 275 on them does anybody know if they will stick out or if I'll be right in line with the body? I'm up in the air between those and the TRD pro Wheels put a couple people have made mention of balancing issues with those. Any information would be greatly appreciated

-10 or -12 or so on new wheels will get you close as youll get to have your tire be in line with your fender, long as you stick with the 275 tire size. The second number following the 275 will tell the rest of the story. Likely a 275/70r17

should sit flush with the fenders. However -38 or nothing. delete your account and stay off the forums if -10

Sure, if you like cutting stuff.

I find the 0 is pretty flush with 295's. ;)

-10 or 12 with smaller tires should be pretty flush

I was joking lol. However I personally like a little poke out of the wheel well.

also with the cutting stuff. If you do it properly no one will ever know. The two dealers I’ve been to haven’t been able to tell until I tell them.

Unfortunately it looks like those wheels are currently unavailable and I'm 3 weeks out from all of this going on........ I was originally thinking about the pro Wheels but I don't want to be dealing with balance issues and as good looking as they are everyone has them
