Why they couldn't add something so simple to the side mirrors is beyond me... Looking for someone who has done it, how they did it, and what part/s did you buy to do it? Appreciate any help with this...

I did it on my ‘21 Trail Edition. Bought the mirror housings from Toyota. Then you just need @Old Red ’s harness. My application requires some coding that I did through Carly. I’m not sure ‘22 would need coding. Old red might know.

    It's a long list...
I'm working on a specific wiring/parts solution for the 22 Pros as swapping the side mirrors to retain the factory MTM 360 camera makes the mod cost prohibitive. Hoping that I can get it wrapped up and available in the coming months.

Hi @Old Red - I'm watching this thread as it appears this targets my application for the premium mirror mod. I'm in the market for a TRD Pro '22 (I prefer the Lime Rush) but also open to the '23 Mag Gray TRD Pro though that's fetching a bit more of a premium of course. I could care less for the heated wheel that the '23s also get but I certainly prefer the practical use of the premium mirrors with the turn signals.

I've read what I could find from you, Old Red, regarding the convo specifically on the '22 TRD Pro and this thread appears to be the latest info I could find as to the status for the '22 Pro mod. In addition in trying to find a way to avoid requiring the buying of new MTM premium mirrors at ~$700, and door harnesses at ~$300, I do recall some speculation as to what would need to be done but one limiting factor was not having a '22 Pro to look at though I did notice a user mention he was taking delivery and was willing to bring the truck to you for evaluation a couple years ago here:

Were you able to take a look at this person's rig or another '22 Pro for R&D since then? From what you mention in this later thread back on 2/2023, it sounds like there may have been some progress on what would be required for the retrofit?

No problem if a solution isn't yet finalized as I totally understand this is a luxury for you to find time for this work - I'm more curious if this is something that's still reasonably possible and if you've come across more data since last year. I totally get the "just get the '23 and be done with it" advice and I do understand the best solution is usually OEM installed features but I like the Green Pros and been finding pretty good deals on them recently. :)

In the meantime, I'll keep tabs on your IG for updates and I repeat everyone here thanking you for putting together these solutions!
