Thanks for including. Found you guys when I was searching for Apple CarPlay options for my daughter's 2015 4R. I've got a Dasaita head unit and I'm hoping I can find someone to help me walk through downloading firmware updates for the unit I've got.
Beyond that, looking forward to being a part of the community!

Welcome. I'm pretty sure someone here will be able to help with the Firmware.

welcome. I have an 18 that didn't have it either. There's no choice but to either swap headunit with one that has it. or get the stand alone Intellidash carplay unit.
Toyota does not have a firmware update or anything to add it.

I'm trying to update a Dasaita head unit before installing with the latest firmware for it. I've already reached out to an OP on a post and am waiting to hear back.

Welcome from the center of the bourbon universe.

Steely is right. If you are pre 2020 you're out of luck to add Carplay to the original HU.
