    Hello readers..

I have a situation I would love some help with.

A bit ago, I bought a set of Trail Emblems for the side of my 2016 Trail.

I used car emblem glue which was probably a mistake, and some excess glue squeezed out of the sides.

    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

The Goo-Gone will most likely work. Just be very sparing with it at first. Goo-Gone can remove more than you may want if over used.

I've ordered some goo gone on Amazon. Do you think I just just remove the whole thing and use something else to re attach it? Or clean up the edges with the goo gone?

    Thank you everyone!

    Really appreciate it

I would remove it completely, clean the surface, and try again!

Hey all.. these things aren't working for me.. I've tried a few times with the goo gone and turtle wax. Let it sit and soak in.. it's a little harder I guess with the sideways angle

Any more suggestions? Things to do along with the goo gone to help it come off?

    Dang this sucks.

    Thanks

The only thing I could think of but would be weary to do is take a blow dryer (have it far enough away so it doesn't damage the paint) soften up the glue if possible, than take some floss and try to get behind it

If you are able to get it off, reattach useing 3M automotive tape. No mess. Plus on the site i have seen the emblems they say attach with the tape.

Forgot to post this! Thanks for the help everyone.. I used a combination of 3M adhesive remover and a bunch of floss to get it off. Then used tweezers and a nail file to clean up the emblems. After they were off, the glue came off the car fairly easily.
