    Hi all.

Well, I've thoroughly vetted my clutch hydraulics, replacing the slave, master and clutch pedal linkages . . . and have now come to the point in which I need the clutch cracked open to see wtf is going on.

I'm guessing bad through-out bearing or diaphragm spring and/or pressure plate. I think the clutch pad itself is good, as there's 0.0% slippage. And as much as I want to tackle the diagnostic/repair myself, underbody and tool clearance is my blocker. No lift at my house. And Santa won't bring one.

For those in the Metro Detroit area, do you have any recommendations for a good 4Runner mechanic??

Thanks in advance and many happy miles.

    Matt in Michigan
