    Hi everyone,

Very excited about my new 2023 t4r SR5 premium. I have had an idea in mind for a while now about the look I want to go for but lack experience in cars, selecting parts and what steps to take to build my 4r (so hoping I can get some help on here). The second picture is what I would ideally want my SR5 to look like. To note, I do not plan to do any off-roading with it and this is purely for the look (I know it may not be the best idea but have wanted to do this for a while). Key questions I would have based on the "ideal look" picture:

    - what lift height does this seem to be?
    - could I reach this lift with a leveling kit only? (understand this may impact driving experience)
    - what size/type of tires are these?
    - Should I have the toyota dealership install the parts?

Any help on this is very appreciated, thanks!

Hey man welcome here. That's a nice look, I had very similar questions when I started jacking up my 4R.
That looks like he levelled it with at least a good 3" lift in the front, sometimes less in the rear.
Def more than levelling kit, upgraded suspension in the front and coil springs in the back I'd say.
Lastly those tires look like 33" Nitto Ridge Grapplers prolly mud terrain, 17 or 18" wheel.

I highly recommended going that route, doing it right. Some dudes get real offset wheels and/or spacers for an aggressive stance. Good luck

@djwantke thanks for the response, that's very helpful. Any recommendations on the lifting kit? Been seeing a lot of Bilstein or OME on here

If money is not an issue go for the OME-BP51. This will give you the lift and the ride quality. I would concentrate more on the quality of ride you are looking for, the stance can always be tweaked. Those tires on the Pic look like 285/70/17, most of us stick to that size and seems to work well. Good luck with the build.

@4runcali4 you bet, I was recommended Bilstein and Old Man Emu, Bilstein can be your most affordable option for your ride and I've been happy with Bilstein. I was told upgrade to Fox or Kings suspension for higher level build quality, more advanced capabilities.

    Welcome 4runcali4,

Congrats on your Black T4R !

Ok, to start, I am on my 2nd T4R and basically built the current one, same as the first with a few more items.
It's hard to tell how much he has lifted, but it seems to be 3/2 (front/rear).
You could possibly get that lift with spacers. So, the front would require a 1.5" spacer and the rear a 2" spacer.
That changes your up travel and down travel of your front A arms. You can google it on the net. That being said, that will give you the same ride just increase height, but not my choice of options.
My choice would be Eibach, Bilstein or Fox coilovers and shocks.
As stated, those appear to be Nitto, 275 or 285.
Lastly, talk to the service tech (not a service writer) and tell him what you are wanting to achieve on lifting, some will treat you right, some will give you push back on installing lifts....
