Hello everyone! Newbie here. Just bought my first car on Friday. Silver 2002 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 with 198k miles on it. Does need some work, but I'm willing to put in the work myself and save money. First thing on the list is get new tires. I live in Central Florida, so I will need some tires that work well in the rain. Might be driving 30 minutes to work and 30 minutes from work every weekend. I have a maximum budget of $500 for all four tires.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank You in advance and I look forward to learning more about my new vehicle from here!

They are currently my favorite tire. They look good, don't weigh a ton, have a tread wear warranty (55,000 miles if I remember correctly) and have been absolutely perfect in dry, dirt, rain and snow. The set can be had for just about $500 shipped to your door.

Another tire if you're looking for a more highway friendly tire (not that the Falkens aren't) is the Cooper A/T3's. I ran them in Puerto Rico and they were amazing. I never ran them off road but they have excellent wet and dry traction. I was especially impressed with their tread wear as the roads there are horrible.

Links provided were assuming you were running a 16" wheel.

Thanks Pablo! Ill be sure to take a look at both of those. Are those Falken ones just the tires, or the tires and rims?

    That's just tires and shipping.
