Hi all just got my 22 TRD PRO

fist mod I want to do other than a slight lift to fit 285 tires is to swap the side mirrors out for the ones on the OFP with the turn signals and puddle lights

I understand that there is a harness from a guy called Tanner aka Old Red
But it seems he is MIA

I did send him a DM via insta and seems
He is a on this forum from time to time
So if anyone has contact with him can they point him my way

Any other options??? Other than OldRed harness ?????

    It's a long list...
I'm around quite a bit, I just don't always log in when I read stuff on here. Saw your DM and replied.

Usually I do stuff in batches when I get the time to produce these, so right now I don't have a set "production schedule". Usually that's a free weekend or two when I'm not getting pulled 10 different directions. I will post up what I replied to you regarding the 22MY TRD PRO (Edit: Looks like Toyota finally figured it out and put Premium Mirrors on 23MY TRD Pro from the factory!)

The harness setup that I have designed currently does not work with the 22MY Pros because of the addition of the Multi-terrain monitor camera system that is standard Pro equipment. It has to do with a connector/terminal difference and the fact that replacing the mirrors with the Premium ones w/MTM system will run you about $600-700 a mirror (OEM are the only ones that will work due to the MTM system).

So it's not cost effective to replace a whole mirror for the 22 Pro. I'm currently back channeling with the OEM to see if it is possible to get individual components to change out on the existing pro mirrors to retain the stock cameras and add the components required without swapping the entire mirror assembly. I will post up info regarding the outcome of this when I have a definitive answer.

@Old Red thanks for the reply here and to my DM look forward to your findings on this for us with 22-23 TRD PRO’s

as many have stated before the fact that Toyota leaves these features out of the flagship model makes no sense to me

and slightly bummed that I just found out apparently they finally added heated steering to the 23 lineup….. bet steering wheel swaps will be the next big mod

Yep I do. It will work for all base models from 2014-22 Except the 2022-23MY TRD Pro. I have no idea about 2023MY yet.

I'm just curious - for those who have done this mirror swap, where exactly does the Old Red harness plug into on the inside? I searched to find a thread on the development of this wire harness, and am coming up empty.
