Hey fellow 4Runner owners! I drove my new 2017 TRDOR Premium 4Runner home today! I owned a 2016 TRDOR Tacoma prior to this, but after 18 months of trouble out of the tacoma, I decided the 4Runner was the solution for me. Day 1, and really like the smooth ride, quiet cabin, and premium sound. The paint is incredible - black metallic with lots of blue flake in it... didn't realize it until I got it home and the sun came out.. WOW it sparkles... I know, dumb stuff to be happy about on day 1, but I gotta start somewhere. Here's to the start of what I hope to be a long friendship with the new 4Runner.. (unlike the Taco).....

Welcome aboard! Seems quite a few of us have ditched the 2016 Tacoma for something much much better, I hated my Tacoma too.

Did the same thing a few weeks ago. Took it on it's first mountain hike around Linville Gorge. It did great, more power, quieter, and was not looking for gears like the 16' Tacoma did. I'm not knocking the trucks because I think they are good but I like the feel of the 4R tons better.
