    Got these put on my 5th gen back in June at 88 Rotors and just upgraded to BP-51's a month ago. The Rear Springs (2895) are brand new never opened (came with the BP-51 kit but same ones I had installed so no reason to swap). Front coils are 2885. Front and rear have a maximum of 2k miles on them...maximum. Only took a photo of one of the front because they're the same.

    These are for pick up only - Located in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles - $400

    Yes, 5100's have adjustable height settings. You can see one of the setting notches in the picture, between the 2nd and 3rd coil gap.

    No idea about 4th gen but these are 100% for 5th gen as I have them on mine now as well. Not sure why but the 2895's are 895's and the 2885's are same as 885 - no idea why they add the 2 in front - see the sticker on the box.

    This is an excellent deal for pre-built front shocks. i definitely would have jumped on this instead of what i purchased last year. GLWS!

    Maybe someone could correct me if wrong but not sure if anything would be a smooth as stock. It’s firm, no roll or diving. There’s lots of reviews out there on these, good bang for your buck.

    @itsmerf you're right, and I have very similar setup. Question for you, I read on Bilstein website you "must" set the 5100's ring at the same position as stock sits, which it the first/lowest position. Is that not true? Then there's 3 settings up, which I'm weary to lift up to cuz it's says it's actually harmful to other components and ride quality
    I have OME 2884 springs. Thanks

    @itsmerf
    To add I have upgraded SPC UCA's. So I found the instructions that detail not adjusting spring seat up. See below. General 5100 description also specifies the ring settings are for OE springs only, but instructions say don't change from stock position, period. I believe my ARB OME springs provide most of the lift themselves. I have minimal added front end weight at the moment, just ARB skids.

    Upon reading more, perhaps this rule doesn't necessarily pertain to offroad 5100's and higher!
    "Deviations in the spring plate height can lead to problems with the pretension (spring plate too low or too high). During compression, there is a risk of the spring going into block (spring plate too high compared to the series) or of the support bearings being destroyed. When the spring is released, the locking assembly, piston rod, support bearings and vehicle dome can be damaged or destroyed.

    Different criteria apply for groove adjustments In the off-road range (BILSTEIN B8 off-road shock absorbers with the suffix 5100 and higher), which is why the off-road shock absorbers may deviate from the series. BILSTEIN Technical Support will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

    @djwantke unfortunately I can't answer to this, it's really not in my realm of knowledge. I do trust the shop that installed them since they do sooooo many of this setup, same with the very little bit I've read online.

    you may be commingling information as 5100s are considered lift shocks as stated on bilsteins website. 2.5” lift is what the max lift the 5100s can properly operate.

    Thanks man ya no I understand the setup. So yes 5100's lift stock spring setups, but my springs are OME 2884 (stock weight category) providing up to 3" lift from what I gather. Perhaps why my 5100's are set at stock ride height geometry - lowest seat groove?
    What I wanna try is raise em up a click or two and switch to 2885 medium weight springs w/ a centre valance winch bumper :D

    $400 is too low man. have you tried vilmontmarket on instagram? there are way more eyes on there so i’m sure you can get the price you were originally trying to sell these for.
