With the (great) help of a good friend, Installed the Westcott Designs ‘21-22 TRD Pro lift kit on our ‘21 TRDP. Still has abt 1/4” rake and good ride so far.

Victory standard (3/4) rack and tires next.

Still exploring which sliders and lo pro bumper and winch.

Standard Victory rack is now installed. Bought it from Deuxdiesel, a member here, who was most helpful and packaged it beyond great so it would not get banged up in shipping.
The hardest part was applying the 3M paint protector film. Applyinh wraps and decals is obviously not my strong suit
    Otherwise happy with the mod.
Tires next. Toyo Open Country AT3’s in 285/70/17 in SL load on the stock TRD Pro wheels.
Wondering if the 285 will fit in the spare well with a aTRDPro rim?
Also, now have a ‘21 Pro rack for sale. $400 Local. Central Texas

Had the new Toyo Open Country AT3’s put on today. 5 each, 285/70/17’s SL load, plus a new TRD wheel from BAM wholesale for the spare. Planning on 5 tire rotations. All OEM TRD Pro 17x7” rims.

Only the slightest of rubs on front left and right when at full lock. That’s my easy front wheel-well mod project for tomorrow morning.

DT did a great job with mounting tires to match dots, road force balance on all 5. Max wt on one was 6.5 oz. All others were less.

Caster seems ok in terms of centering the tires to the well, but will probably do alignment in next week or so since we have now lifted and put larger tires on. Although, I hate to mess with what I see and feel.

Most importantly, there was no shimmy/ wobble introduced through this process. Ran it up to 60mph+ and all was smooth after the Toyos.

Introducing the 60mph shimmy when I did a wheels and tires mod was my biggest disappointment on my previous 4R and, therefore, my biggest concern with these tires. At that time I bought Method 305 wheels and Falken WPs in 275/70/17 E load. A heavy tire coupled with an aftermarket wheel that is lug-centric vs the OEMs which are hub-centric. That’s one of the reasons I stayed w the OEM wheels and SL load tires this time. So far, so good.

My thanks to many here that answered my wheel and tire questions as I made my choices. Learning is a good thing.

Next up considering sliders. Cali Raised is just north of me in DFW area and theirs seems to be a well made mod. I like the clean weld look. Not so sure about the ‘step’ / insert add on as it introduces more welds which can lead to more areas to rust? (And they’re not really steps anyhoo!) Thinking the DOM steel tube on the slider is enough of a ‘step’ although I don’t plan on he sliders being true steps per se.

Still pondering whether winch and lopro bumper should truly be in my future given the light off-roading (more overlanding) we do in NM.

So I learned how to plasti dip today….
Note to self: DO NOT attempt employment at wrap or paint shop.

Today we minimized the hood glare with a custom wrap done by The Graphics Guys in Austin.

They did a great job. I have no connection to them. Just a happy customer.

Finally bought the Roam 6.5 x 8.5 awning and installed it with Ironman quick on/ off mounts onto Victory (standard length) roof rack.
Now needing a lock with long enough and thin enough shank to lock it on when out and about.
It’ll be nice to have some shade when we travel the back roads of NM.
Thanks to those of you that helped me with the purchase and installation process.

The Cali Raised rock sliders were supposed to be here last Friday but apparently still somewhere between Cali’s shop and my front door per Cali. Fedex showing “Label created/ Delivery Pending” status. Go figure.

@Kilo Papa when you installed your Westcott design leveling kit did you have any creaking noises? Had mine installed and I have some creaking noises coming from the front end.

No, no creaking at all. Have your installer check all bolts that were removed and re-installed for mod checked for proper torque

Took a while to finally cut open the boxes and get this project going but finally removed the factory boards and got the Caliraised
sliders installed. Happy with the results.
