Hello! I’m new to this forum and had a general question. I have a 2019 4Runner I bought new in August 2019 and was wondering if anyone knows if it’s safe/effective to use interior protectant (Armor All, Meguiar’s, etc.) on headlights as a UV protectant. I had a 2012 4Runner that was always garaged but still started showing headlight oxidation after about 5 years so I’m trying to prevent it on my new 4Runner. I know there are specific products for headlight protection but since I already have interior UV protectant I’d rather use that (if it’s safe) than buying another detailing product. Thanks in advance!

2014 Neglected by the previous owners 2020 is an abused former rental... 2023 New I've been buying above my pay grade ☹️
While this is a dead thread, I have spent a good deal of time researching Meguiar's headlight coating. If a headlight is new, even better. It does not protect against stone chips, but if there are some before you spray it, it does fill them and smooth them out so they don't attract as much dirt.
