Does anyone think Old Red's harness would work with a 2022MY SR5 base (H from his research above)? Would really like to add heated mirrors (and ideally the turn signals/puddle lights).

    Graveyard dig.

So I've acquired a harness. The driver side mirror works and that's great. Anyone want to shed some light on the subject in where the yellow and white wires connect to? I'm not opposed to try hunt and peck but if yall have done this, some knowledge would be great.

Love and thanks to those who have pioneered this.

I got the KTJP one. Shipped fast considering the holiday. Unfortunately i don't think I'm going to have any luck here trying to find a reference point to where the corresponding wires have to tap into. but i'll keep digging

I bough the same harness and no instructions sent, when I reached out they acted like there was one on the website but there is not. I had the puddle and turns working on drivers side but my mirror movements were flipped so when I hit right or left it would go up and down. I flipped the wires in the harness and it fixed that issue but now turns and puddles are dead. I am waiting to get Ol Reds harness. Let me know if you had the same issue or is you get it working.

Yea I noticed so far that the controls are wonky. Haven't tried any wiring yet. Too busy transporting kids to sports. Ugh. I'll get to it tonight when it's dark and cold. Lol.

    It's a long list...

    Fellas,

@LandLover, @djdaves, the unfortunate reason why there is no public documentation on this modification is directly because of KTJO4x4 and her shady business tactics. You will not find any documentation from me regarding this modification (or any others for that matter) on the forums directly because of her, and a moderator on another forum who saw fit to back her ripping people off. If you google TRD Pro side mirror swap on the other 4Runner site you can read a really long thread outlining this issue amongst others. There's a reason she is banned from all the Toyota sites. If it sounds like I am not a fan, it's because I am very much not for some very good reasons.

KTJO saw the opportunity to make a quick buck ripping off my harness design without permission. This is the result, and it isn't the first time she has "misrepresented" her products. There is a reason your mirror controls are flipped, and that the puddle lights and turns are dead when you correct it. The reason there is no documentation on her site is because she never made any (or can't provide it because she can't get a copy of mine). Taking a picture of my harness and sending it to her manufacturer in china to make a look-a-like does not an equivalent make.

You are both not the first, nor will likely be the last to have this issue. My advice to you is uninstall the harness you purchased from her, return it, and get your money back before you really mess up your vehicle. If she refuses to refund either of you, let me know. Neither of you should have to hassle with this. Please PM me privately, and I will help get you guys sorted out so that you have the correct components to make this work for you and your vehicles.
