    Hello,
I'm a retired engineer, avid outdoor photographer and coming into a 2019 4R TRD Off Road from a 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road, both automatic transmissions.

I have to say that the 4.0L in the 4R far outshines the 3.5L in the Tacoma. The ride quality and lower engine noise level of the 4R are much appreciated benefits of the switch.

Most of my driving is on paved roads and highways but I love to get away to our cottage in the winter and the capability of Toyota 4x4's in snow and my light off road use lets me go anywhere I want to. I'll be getting a set of 265/70 R17 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus's mounted on the stock rims to replace the stock Dunlops ASAP. I ran Cooper AT3 4S followed by a set of Toyo OC AT III on the Tacoma year round and will do the same with the Scorpions.

Welcome. I assume you are in Ontario, Canada, not Ontario, California. Both written the same way...not too many blizzards in the California Ontario...

Welcome from the center of the bourbon universe. I think you'll really like the Scorpions. I put a set on my 4R this summer. First drive in a 1.5" snow and they were great.
