I live in SW Washington and love my new 4R already!

But I’m pretty unfamiliar with the lighting and the bulbs, and I noticed pretty quickly that they suck! Can anyone give me recommendations for best and brightest bang for your buck bulb for the low beams? My visibility is crap with them. Also, if there are recommendations for the High beams and fog lights too I’m open to upgrading those as well if anyone has some wisdom on that. And what’s the deal with no LED’s on this new of a vehicle??

    Great thank you!

Would you recommend using these in all the lights? Fog and highbeams? I live in dark forested areas with pretty shitty roads so I need good visibility

Highbeams are tricky. So far the LEDs I've used the awesome bright ones are not good in DRL mode.

The ones like Xenon Depot LED are great as DRLs but not bright as Nilight ones.

I think LEDs keep improving and get good ones with time.

Low beams and fogs are same bulbs (H11) but don't use high power on fogs as it may be nuisance to other drivers as the fogs are reflector housings. Low beams I would put the brightest ones available and adjust the cut off to match the stock if level changed from bulb to bulb. Can try some take off OEM LED fogs as well as they are low powered if you see them cheap in FB market place or Craigslist.

For the low beams I might play with those Hikari or Auxbeam next. Most likely I might buy Hikari one by the specs they have.

the 2020 use the H11 Bulb same as the Low beam ones, One of the Guys I know installed the Sylvania H11 Led in Both Low beam and Fog Light location and the Sylvania 9005 in the High beam location they look good and he says they are great however it only has been 5 weeks since he did it so to me he is still in the "happy with it zone" frame of mind.
They are $99 a pair and they do look to be well made but I have not personally installed them on my 2020 Yet or any LED as for that matters I do plan to do so.
Also I have been hearing from some that with some High beams LEDs you have to watch out for flickering and if it does the system needs a Canbus decoder put in line with the LED and that is a simple Resistor pack. Sylvania does not say if needed with theirs.

So modify the H11 to H9?

any good resources for what you’re suggesting? Thanks!

It is a very Simple thing to do because both the H11 and H9 Bulb are Identical with one minor exception and that is in the socket of the H11 Bulb there is 1 tab that makes sure the Plug only fits in one way and the H9 Bulb has 2 So with a very sharp X-axel Knife or a Dremel with a small bit you have to remove the top smaller tab very carefully and wear gloves so you do not touch the Glass of the bulb.
To see this compare a H11 to a H9 socket below it is the small tab you have to remove.

Only thing is make sure that your headlights are Properly aimed and if you have Lift that is more important since you could be blinding on coming cars so if you do it and you get people flashing their lights at you you need to aim them better.
