Hey guys...sorry for the long winded post but I want to make sure nobody has an experience like I did with this company. I see they advertise a lot here and want to ensure you guys are aware of the issues I had before you possibly lose thousands….

On September 22nd, I placed an order for almost $5,000 for a long travel kit for my F-150. I was told it would take 3 weeks to receive the King Coil over shocks and I would be able to bypass the months long wait. On the 22nd, I paid over $4,000 in a deposit and was told the order would be completed and shipped out in 2-3 weeks including the King Shocks.

After reaching out, I was told by the front office manager the long travel kit (excluding King shocks) would ship out on September 30th. After waiting 4 days I was told the kit would ship out on October 4th. During this waiting period, I begin feeling nervous about being scammed as they are not responsive and I decide to open a credit card dispute. Fast forward to October 12th after numerous communication and I receive what I think is the full kit…wrong! Wicked Creations sent me 1 lower control arm. After some more back and forth I receive the remaining control arms a few days later but am missing a bolt and limit strap mounts (likely fell out of the torn boxes as they weren’t packaged properly. At this time, I think I am going to receive the whole order and decide to cancel the dispute.

Right around October 19th, I am told that there is no ETA for the King Shocks. What a surprise! On this day, I inform Wicked Creations that I am disputing the transaction and am told by them that if I choose to open up a credit card dispute for not receiving a portion of my order, I will be reported to their fraud department! Please keep in mind this is over a week after the promised date the entire order would be received, and nearly 70 back and forth emails to them.

Now to the good part…..I decide I will place an order for coil overs with a different manufacturer that promised a 2-week lead time. I decide it’s a good time to get my front end torn apart and get all the control arms mounted. I mount the passenger side lower arm first and realize its impossible to get fit into the slots. I ended up getting it in but this took the use of a ratchet strap to open the control arm slots. I get everything mocked up and cycle the suspension and the bushings are extremely loud because of how tight fitting the kit is. Now to the driver side….I have a similar experience with the lower arm and upon mounting the upper arm, I find out it is nearly 1” narrower than the passenger side arm and is completely impossible to fit into the control arm slot.

I reach out to wicked creations who makes no apology for this fitment issue or experience and just asks me to mail the kit back.

Where I stand presently…..I was just informed the dispute was ruled in my favor (by no surprise). My truck has been sitting on jack stands for over 2 weeks while I wait for a much more reputable kit to come in with different shocks.

I rarely post reviews, but I have dumped hours into trying to figure out a resolution to this. Wicked Creations is, by far, the least professional company I have ever dealt with in my life. I gave them ample opportunity to fix this and they insisted I was fraudulent by disputing the transaction and refused to provide any level of appropriate service to me.

Please think long and hard about purchasing any of their off-road products. They way dealt with me after they got my $4000+ can only be described as fraudulent.

    Thanks for your time!

You kinda lost me when you said you opened a credit dispute after 12 days. Seems like a very short timeline to allow a company to unfuck themselves.

Someone please delete this. Posts 2 posts for a vehicle not involved in our community and for a company I'm guessing the majority of us havve never heard of. Sounds more like this guy has unrealistic expectations and with 70 back and forths? I'd have sent his money back and told him to piss off.

Lesson learned? Never order anything that isn't in stock UNLESS you KNOW the company in question.

There are at least 6 different posts with this company soliciting sales to this community most recently this year. The items were in stock as I was told and shocks were to take 3 weeks at most to come in.

If you don’t already know, King shocks has A 7 month wait for shocks. They lured me in by telling me they can bypass that wait and it turned out to be a complete lie.

It’s irresponsible of you to want a review of a vendor that primarily sells 4Runner parts taken down. I would think this information would be beneficial. After all, this is the vendor review thread.

It’s incredible to me that you guys are more concerned with the reasons that I disputed the charge than the fact I was sent parts that didn’t even fit my vehicle.

I'm sure that the company messed up, all I was saying is that you probably shouldn't do a credit dispute 12 days after ordering.

People will see that as an option and follow suit. So, again all I was saying is don't do that. The vendor is probably going to be less inclined to help if you go straight for a credit dispute.

@Wicked-creations Care to bring any light to this issue?
