Tacoma whip, 99 console box, tru trac., steering wheel, PWMS and HVAC control out of a 99.
After 2010 many of the 1GR engines got a secondary air injection system, other than that they stayed the same. The T4R and Tacoma share the same 1GR power plant, however the 1GR in the tundra is different, and not really compatible with the T4R.

So you don't think there are any Variable timing changes from a 05-06 to a 07 or a 08?
    Thanks

I don't have TIS open in front of me at home, but no, the only change to the 1GR was in 2010 when the oil filter moved from the upper left of the timing cover to the lower left of the timing cover.

IIRC i read about someone who did a motor swap and the computer needs to come with the motor youre bringing in, so you should aim for as close to your model year as possible. the one person who was doing it had like an 05 and tried like an 09 motor and had all sorts of trouble with the computers in the engine and trans communicating
