Are you happy with the -10 or do you wish you would of got -38?

That is a good question.. I had -10 on my Tacoma and liked the look of it and never considered -38 on the runner. Looking at other people's set up with -38, I do like it but in my opinion, you have to go bigger on the tires. Plus with -38 you have to do even more trimming to fit say 285s etc. So overall, I am more than happy with the way it looks but again, just my personal opinion.

I still have the stock TRD ORP wheels, with 265/70R17 BFG KM3's on it. My next tire I want to go back to pizza cutters (255/80R17's), but I'm having a hard time finding a mud terrain tire in that size now that the KM2's are gone. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If I can't find an MT tire, I'll probably go with the Wildpeak in 255/80R17, but I'm really not excited about moving to an AT tire.

Very nice looking! I want to do something similar. When you swapped the tires and wheels do you also swap the spare tier/wheel? Also is your Falken load C or E? I bought 4 TRD pro wheels during BF when they are on sale. I just realized there is a spare underneath the truck. I don't know what I should do with that. I am looking to upgrade to 275 tires. Thanks.

That is a different look than the usual black or gunmetal wheels we usually see. I love it. Very clean!

This is a great color combo!

Do you have any additional photos from the front or rear showing how much "poke" that setup gets?

Thanks! I didn't do anything with the spare yet. Thought of that late as well after I had put in the orders. Also not sure if the same combo works for the spare compartment and how it's held there (I'd assume is does but haven't checked). Someone else around here can probably give you a better answer there.

My Falkens are the SL load from Discount Tire. I didn't get E load as I live in Illinois and realistically won't be doing anything too hardcore with rocks with any frequency. My friend who lives up in the mountains in Colorado got the same wheels I did for his 4Runner but put Toyo Open Country AT3s on them with an E load rating as he off-roads there frequently.

Also, per my post, I did stick with 265s for the tire size and have no rubbing. You can probably get away with the 275 tires, but there's a chance you'll have some rubbing at full lock. I'd check some other threads on the forum as I know I've seen plenty of posts on rubbing at different tire sizes and how to make some minor mods to remedy it.

I have been reading a lot from this forum. I am really going between 265 to 275, C to E etc. I plan to raise the suspension to about ~2 inches with Bilstein 5100. I don't plan or want any cutting. I might go off road like 10%. So looks, ride quality (mostly day to day drive) and off-roading is my priority order. I was going from for sure 275 KO2 E and gradually leaning to 265 C. I am sure many people had done similar thought process. So between Fauken 265 Load SL and 265 KO2 C, is one particularly better than the other one or they are pretty neck to neck? For one thing, KO2 is like way more expensive than falken.

what size are your tires and any lift on this truck? i really like this set up. I have trd wheels and im debating between a 285, 275, or 265 ... won't be doing anything crazy off road... i'll be installing a lift 2.5 front / 1.5 ... I fear if I go 265s they will look too small with the lift... I also want to avoid a BMC ... I'm doing mostly highway driving...
