I have a 2020 4rnr. I don't understand why Toyota has stopped explaining the fuses.
    1) I know where they are located 2) I know the diagram. That being said, I need to know which fuse defines the parking lights.
I am trying to run Raptors, and do NOT want to make them part of the daytime lights.
Does anyone know where I can find a good explanation other than the abbreviations on the back of the box cover?
    Thanks

I ran into the same thing when installing my raptor lights, ditch lights, and light bar—couldn’t find anything comprehensive and just searched these forums for advice where I found some that worked for my design and some that didn’t.

For my raptor lights I tapped the 10 amp TAIL fuse from the cabin panel to power my relay. This turns on my raptor lights any time I have the parking or main lights activated. Downside is the panel cover won’t fit over the fuse tap so it’s one more thing that rattles around in the glove box.

The glove box?? The fuse box is located under the hood right?
We are talking about a 20 4Rnr right?
I am nor sure we are on the same page. Or I am just not understanding.

On my 2021 (and I believe also on the 2020) there is a fuse panel in the engine bay and another in the cabin just above the parking brake pedal. The latter is where I tapped the tail light fuse (TAIL) for my raptor lights. The glove box is where I keep the cover that will no longer snap over the panel due to the fuse tap being in place

The Stop/Tail Fuse you are looking for will be left of steering column inside the cabin.
To remedy your Fuse cover issue, see the following link from the T4R.ORG website [IMG]

If you really want to know all the circuits connected to each fuse in the engine fuse box and interior fuse box you need to go to the Toyota Technical Information System (TIS) website, get a subscription for two days, and download all the reference documentation you need for your model year to your computer. It will take you a while.

I did that for my 2018 and among the hundreds of files there is a Fuse List folder that contains lists for the Instrument Panel Driver Side, and Engine Compartment Assembly. Note that the 5th Gen electrical system and wiring changed at the 2020 model year, there are significant differences between a 2019 model and 2020+ models.

You have to download the files for your particular model year from TIS. Set aside a weekend to do it.
