Are the fog light bulbs on the '21 replaceable? Looking around, I haven't seen any threads and the YouTube videos aren't showing anything.. the bulbs I purchased are said to be interchangeable, but briefly trying to take out the passenger side fog, that bulb wasn't budging...

It is replaceable if it's a halogen bulb.

The fog lights on the 21’s are LED and do not have replaceable bulbs.

    Cheers,

That's pretty lame how Toyota built em unreplaceable. I wanted to switch out to yellow fogs, especially since winter is coming and snow will be here soon. I have no intention of forking out 3-5 hundred for aftermarket...

I wonder how well the lumin-x films work. People talking about how they like the "look" but how do they perform, I wonder. Not much data to support performance.

I fully understand your desire to change to amber / yellow / selective yellow fogs. (True selective yellow is the best.) Most "yellow" bulbs (and Laminex film) just cut your light output and don't really make up for it with increased ability to see through snow and rain.

I would recommend simply replacing your OEM fogs with higher performing aftermarket LED fog pods from somebody like Diode Dynamics (SS3 Sport or Elite) or Morimoto (4banger). I think you'll be surprised at how reasonably priced the DD lights are and how much more light they put out than the factory fogs. As for where to get them, I'd very highly recommend:
