Added Auxiliary rear back up lights, and a remote start.
I am trying to increase my lighting while maintaining a stock city slicker look.
I dont want to mount big off road lights or light bars outside the body panels.
I would like to something behind the grill if possible.
    1) want to start with upgrading stock fog/driving lights to LED.
    2) would like to upgrade headlights to an "LED" set up if there is a "plug and play" option out there
    3) behind the front grill auxiliary lights.
I am brand new at this, any recomendations ,pictures off completed projects and links to companies that provide what I need would be so much appreciated!

Can you send the info on the led fog lights?

There are actually a pretty good number of "upgraded" LED fog light options out there. The best of them replace the entire "pod" as opposed to just the bulb (if you have halogen fogs). These are still pretty much "plug and play" except that you have to remove and replace the whole pod - which isn't a huge deal. Trust me, if you get the right LED pods, the increase in lighting is dramatic. Here's a really good (if a bit exhaustive) review of what's out there:

The LED SAE J583 Fog Pod & Fog Light Review | Tacoma World

Spoiler Alert: The best bang for the buck is the Diode Dynamics Sport or Elite and the flat out most powerful are the Diode Dynamics Max or the Morimoto HXB. (I have the Max and my son has the HXB's.)

The number one upgrade that made a difference was going with OEM LED headlights from a 2021MY. Swapping the connectors on the plugs was the easiest part, less than 10 minutes. It took me longer to get the bumper off and swap the lower headlight brackets. You don't need a harness unless you go with the OEM LED headlights that have the high beam shutter. Just make sure to get the ones that have LED low beams and halogen high beams, usually from a non Pro or Limited and MY2021-2022. The halogen high beams help with headlight icing in the winter.

If you are not wanting to spend the money or time on the LED headlights, then I would at least do the H9 low-beam conversion. This is the second best and cheapest light mod that you can do.

So you didn’t use an an adapter to switch to the newer (2021) headlight housing?

No adapter needed for 2021 led low beam/ halogen high beam headlights, just swap the plugs. Swapping the plugs literally takes less than 5 minutes. The problem will be trying to find a used set of these headlights.

An adapter will be needed for 2021 Limited and Pro headlights or any 2022 + led headlights.

Thanks! Seems doable, but I’d hate to mess it up. I watched that video on switching the plugs. It seems like buying an easy adapter would work too?
