    Hey all!

still relatively new to the 4Runner world & have searched this answer with mixed results so far.

I have a 2023 TRD Pro. I’m eventually wanting to do a set of 285/70/17’s. Right now, the truck is completely stock.

    a few questions-

    1. Will the stock TRD Pro wheels fit the width of something like Falken Wildpeak’s?

    2. I know I’ve seen it mentioned a few times but have never seen a true answer- Did Toyota change the TRD Pro wheels for 2023? If so, what are the differences?

    3. With the TRD Pro suspension being slightly taller, will I need an additional lift/leveling kit to fit the new tires? Any rubbing concerns, etc?

I’m sure this question has been asked many times before but my searching of this forum hasn’t yielded a ton of results.

    appreciate any insight!

I might, it might not. Only you can determine the amount of rubbing you find tolerable. You may get away with no rubbing, a little rubbing, or serious rubbing. Who knows because each vehicles suspension geometry is every so slightly different. The same tire in two different load ranges will have different diameters. So really, who knows.

Having said that laying out a logical path for modification for a desired result would be beneficial. Supporting modifications like fender liner mods, different mudflaps, body mount chop, and wheels with the correct offset will ensure you don't rub or have issues.

But, that's the hard answer. I'm sure someone will come along to say, "I did it on my blah blah blah and it only rubs in reverse on full lock when I drive to the grocery store and back."
