Hey, I just picked up my T4R ORP on Monday, and before I head out into the wilds, I want to get a proper toolbox assembled. I'm new to this so please let me what else you think I should have on hand in a pinch. As for outdoor gear (filter, headlamp & batteries, sat com device, extra clothes, rain gear, rations, lighter, etc), I'm pretty competent and well stocked there, so this is more from a vehicle repair perspective outside of the jack & spare that comes with car.
    • zip ties
    • fire extinguisher
    • leatherman
    • flathead & phillips screwdriver
    • air compressor
    • wrench set
    • socket set
    • duct tape
    any glaring omissions?

I would add a tie rod puller to the toolbox, small and pretty cheap but pretty great to have around if you ever bend a tie rod

A few pieces of wood always helped me out. Good for jacks (extension or flat surface) as wheel chocks, traction, etc.

I second looking at this thread. I posted a pretty long list in here, turns out I carry a ton of stuff in my 4R lol.

One thing I haven't done yet is to actually get specific tools for working on the vehicle organized. I recently found this video, and have been meaning to watch it. You post reminded me of it, so I figure I'll share it here. This is a newer channel, but I checked out a few of the other videos on it and he seems very legit so I'm confident that this one will be as well.
