Hi all. Just joined up in hopes of gaining some sage advice and wisdom as I look for a 4th Gen to become my daughter's first vehicle.

Welcome aboard. I hope you can find a good, reliable machine at a fair price. Let us know how well you do. - Cheers, Ted

Just yesterday we bought a 2006 Black SR5 with 210K miles on it. It's been beautifully kept and looks to have been exceptionally well-maintained. I believe we got a good deal on it from a private seller for an even $7,000. The only thing it will need within the next 12 months is perhaps front brake pads (which I can do myself) and a new set of tires. The battery is not even one year old, and we're still about 4 months away from it needing the next oil change.
