    RCI rock sliders for now
Hello to all of you! 1st post ever on this forum.

First of all, I just bought my 1st 4Runner. New '17 SR5. I've wanted one since the 80's. This is the best choice for me and a dream truck come true...finally! I'll use it to haul a small travel trailer and unhitch to go off and film/photograph wildlife and natural history projects. I've done this for almost 30 years and have owned and used less-than suitable vehicles, unless able to rent or borrow 4WD vehicles.

I won't beat or aggressively use the truck, but when I have to get to certain shooting locations I will have to travel through tough stuff. I've been doing lots of listening and online researching and found these rock sliders to protect my new 4Runner:

    http://rcimetalworks.com/10-17-4Runner_c57.htm

They'll be fabbed by next week and installed then.

I just turned 65, but I feel like a kid with a new toy. Wait, I AM a kid with a new toy!

Look forward to learning more on this forum and contributing.

I run RCI sliders on my Tacoma. They are good quality, I've found the customer response time to questions at RCI is slow, so don't get discouraged if they take a few days to return your call.
