    Hello 4Runner enthusiasts.
First, I know this topic has been discussed before and knowing that some here either like or dislike the idea of crawl control. A recent off-road trip has me closer to the 'like' side of crawl control. Now this time we did not air down the tires, a little pressed for time, so kind of a quick pass on one of our fave trails. As time has it the terrain had changed slightly exposing a few more rock, washing a little more in places, sand in different places etc. When we got to an uphill portion that is a 'decent' challenge, but dry, sandy/rocky, I tried multiple times to get up this hilly part and was unsuccessful. So I said, "let's try the crawl control." The first attempt was successful! While I'm from "old school" 4 wheeling in older trucks without radios in many cases much less crawl control, I'm believing there is a place for electronic helpers, since the technology is there, why not. The only thing that kind of concerns me is all the noise that the system makes, I know it's normal, but.. The only other time I used crawl control was on our Tacoma.
