Front hitch mount removal

    2014 4R trail with the curt front hitch mount. I want to remove it but couldn’t find anything abt uninstalling anywhere I looked. Does anyone have experience removing it?

    I'd look at the online installation instructions for SDHQ or similar brand hidden winch mount, because they mount up in a very similar fashion, then reverse them! Edit - assuming that Curt doesn't have online instructions? Or check the database at etrailer, they generally have instructions for all the stuff they sell and they sell that hitch.

    You basically are removing the bumper fascia and grille, then unbolting 6 bolts holding the hitch mount to the frame, then replacing the aluminum sub bumper that was removed to install the hitch with those same 6 bolts (if you have it), then reinstalling the bumper fascia.
