4runner search engine

I built this for myself, but thought it might be helpful for others.

I just got a 2022 SR5 a few months ago, and having been doing a ton of research on parts and upgrades. Most of the best information I have found is either on a forum (here, the other forum, reddit) or in videos, and I usually end up having to do a bunch of different targeted Google searches to find the information I wanted.

I work on large scale search engines for my day job, so I figured I would build something fun to 'scratch my own itch'. This basically works by searching the four targeted sources mentioned above.

Hopefully someone else finds this useful. Also happy to take any requests on cool things that might be added!

Pretty cool search engine. Can you add mechanic shops by state? Would be nice if there is a list of trusted mechanics or body modification shops that’s been used by forum members before. Yes I know I can google it but an approval or disapproval from members is probably better than google reviews.

Thank you! That is an awesome idea on mechanics (wouldn't mid that for contractors too!).

It doesn't have coverage everywhere, but it actually does handle that really well.

Absolutely! It was fun to build something that shows a different side of the web than just Google.
