    Hey guys

I'm in the market for a used 4Runner and one in particular caught my eye at a dealer. I test drove it and felt very smooth except breaking felt like front rotors needed to be replaced. Going into 4wd was able to feel it engage. Currently has 116k miles and dealer wants $14,921. I didn't even bargain yet.

I took plenty of pictures of underneath as I saw some rust so i'm checking with you guys on your opinion.

The rust looks to be treatable, doesn't look like any heavy metal delamination. Not sure what the value is on it.

I bought my 2008 back in august, and paid &15,400. It had 100,043 miles, no rust, no sunroof, and no hitch or roof rack. I thought I over paid by about $700-$800. I'm not a fan of buying a vehicle with more rust than my DD tacoma with 259,665 miles on it. I guess the rust depends on where you live. We've been happy with ours. Good luck!

I have a 2008 Sport with 132k and the rust was about the same as one your looking at. I knocked most of mine off with a wire wheel and put some rustoleum on it. I paid 13,900 for mine a year ago and that was with the "urban runner" package.
