Have u had your garage stained, painted, or sealed?

Did you do it yourself or hire a contractor?

    What product(s) did you use?

    How much did you spend?

    Any lessons learned or experiences?

    thanks!

I painted mine with a 2 part epoxy from Griots. No problem with tires pulling up paint.

A lot of time spent cleaning. I put down two (2) coats of epoxy.

I painted one bay at a time. I used a small roller to do the perimeter. Filled in the middle, with standard roller on a broomstick type attachment.

It will be slick as greased owl sh*t when wet. You may want to sprinkle sand between first & second coats.

We built a new house and the 804 sq ft garage floor coating was hired out by me after the build - roughed/ground with diamond abrasives, then polyurea base coated, then sprinkled with colored chips, then UV protected with a topcoat containing some special anti-slip abrasive. 20 yr transferable warranty against any delamination, discoloration, or peeling.

One day job, 48 hr cure.

Under $5K in Aug 2022 (under $6.22 per sq ft). Not enough use yet for a solid opinion, but so far it's incredible.
