IMG_20220819_123315042.jpg It ties in with the electrical connection that goes to the gas pedal, when I got it back from the shop it was unplugged. (always read reviews of auto shops before you take stuff there)

These pictures are of the connections leading to the tie in, sorry for the poor picture quality, thanks.

Are you sure it was plugged in when you brought the vehicle to the shop? While working on my 4runner I've come across all sorts of unplugged connections so the fact it is unplugged is not necessarily a concern.

This shop is all sorts of shady, they flushed my brakes and put a bad bleeder in that constantly leaked, I had to go out and redo it myself. They quoted me needing a 1200$ part, the brake reservoir and the booster, but in reality all it needed was the 50 dollar motor.

That's it then. That plugs into the bottom of the brake pedal assembly. They must have knocked it out.

Edit - sorry, didn't realize this was the 4th gen forum. At least in my 5th gen that harness has two connections, one to gas and a blue plug to the bottom of the brake.

That’s too bad! I’m sure someone will come along that can take a peak.

Have you got brake lights when you push the brake pedal?
Does the cruise control work? If it was me i would start checking all the functions on the column plus the pedals
