Finally got a bike last Sunday. I bought a rack yesterday and decided to get the Swagman Chinook. I was looking at getting a 1Up but decided not to spend a rack that costs as much as the bike. If I have a $5,000 bike, I could have gotten a 1Up rack:)Giant1.jpg

Buy a Kuat hitch mounted carrier. I have a Sherpa but I doubt you'll be disappointed with any unless you buy a feature that doesn't fit your needs. Also, Kuat support is top notch.

SRAM Eagle 1x12 early adopter version? I've seen some cool vintage derailleurs, but that's a new one for me.

Almost looks like the old Suntour pattern (with the exception of the guard over the forward pivot) from mid 70s.

I still have some old pebble-finish Campy and 80s Shimano XT stuff in my parts stash.

Guess I'm that guy . . . I don't throw metal, parts, tools away. Ever.

GO WITH some sort of rear rack. I use one in the back of my Gen 3 ....it can handle up to four bikes...if needed. most of the time, I'm good with one-or-two bikes..as I do my daily ride..
