I'd assume the following just as a knowledge check for me:
    Gas tank
    Rear differential
    Front diff

    Is there something for:
    Transmission
    Radiator
    What am I missing?

Thanks to the more knowledgeable then me...

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Especially from theft. Those cats are super popular theft items. If there's a decent protection on them that would delay the thief, they tend to move along to another vehicle. They don't want to slide out from under a vehicle, after struggling with protection plates and then the cat, and be looking down the owner's gun barrel...

    Have fun, all!

Front skid (some call it engine skid)
Transmission skid (can add cat protection things on RCI)
    Transfer case skid
    Gas tank skids
    A-arm skid
    Rear diff skid
    Shock guard skid
    Lower link skid

    No experience with-

    Bumper filler skid
Washer fluid skid (or something like that)

Unless you're building a rock crawler, I think a few of those are overkill.

I'd pass on the rear diff and a-arm skid. The A-arms are steel and beefy enough, the skid just adds weight and will trap mud and gunk.

The rear diff is also made of steel, and the skid reduces ground clearance. (Which is also at a premium).

Shock guard and lower link skids... Again, how often are you in rocks?

I think the bumper filler and washer skids are only needed with aftermarket front bumpers.

On mine I run the RCI engine, transmission, and t-case skids. I also have a fuel tank skid, but haven't installed it yet. I def think the 3 front skids are needed, the 4R sits pretty low and there are sensitive bits up there.

I hate how much ground clearance I lost with the drivetrain skids, but I'd rather have them than not.

Edit: didn't realize this was an old post.

RCI seems to have sales pretty often. Also Ironman is always on sale. I think the Ironman is probably sufficient for the casual off-roader.
