I'm curious as to why you decided to sell this after all you did to it, up to and including the ECGS bushing fix...

I have a Tundra TRD Pro coming in. I would love to keep both, but I have too many toys my wife says! The truck has about 8K on it since the ECGS replacement and has been spot on. The shop that installed my lift has made that a standard on all the lifts they put on.

Ah, the dreaded "too many toys" hammer...nice truck, good luck with the sale. And kudos to the shop for getting ahead of the needle bearing issue!

Wait how did glwood54 know about your ecgs issue? A different post ? Sorry I'm new here. I have no idea how I found this specific post. Sick rig. But does swapping it to ecgs only rly pertain to lifted 4runners?

I had seen his discussion of the needle bearing issues on another thread. The bearing issue shows up randomly on lifted and stock rigs, new and older. The ECGS bushing is the only permanent solution.

If you're asking me if the OP's 4R has KDSS or not, I don't know. Mine does.

Yes, if you lift yor 4Runner go ahead and swap the needle bearing for the ECGS bushing.

OP - what's current mileage? Do you have the clear title in hand? Receipts for the service & lift work by chance?
