    Banned with NO explanation other then "Violated ROE" ? I had a friend on here (he's also on another forum) & he told me he commented on a thread, not malicious , nor targeting a member , just an opinion on a subject that it seemed the moderator didn't like and he got banned W/NO reason/explanation?? Why would you do this? How do you make you site more appealing by being close minded?? I'm not criticizing ,just asking for real answers. Don't judge me/ban me just asking? Asking for a friend!!!!!!!!!

    Without know what thread in question I guarantee your "friend" did something.

    I've been an ass multiple times on here and never gotten a warning (knock on wood).

    Know all he did was make true/factual comments about current administration. I believe it was about E vs Gas pwrd vehicles & the one was diving an Old NON efficient 4Runner that he told me was so arrogant for E vehicles! Go figure ,eh??

    No politics means no politics. If your friend brought up politics, that is why he got banned. Pretty simple. Lots of other places to talk political crap, just not here.

    But how can we talk about MPG, current fuel prices and NOT have current admin policies not be part of the discussion?
    Not asking for a friend, asking why I got a 30 day ban?
    You can't talk about guys from NJ without discussing Jersey Shore, blond highlights, alcohol and who the best bail bondsmen are?

    Again, if you can't talk about your vehicle's mpg and the price of gas without bringing politics into it, then don't.

    Impossible to have an honest dialog about things like that without bringing politics into it in the current climate. I guess to be safe we can limit discussions to paint color and tire pressure threads. I'm running 36psi by the way. Helps me get better mileage which is great because of gas being so high because of...oh damn.

    A big problem, and maybe the main reason for the no politics rule, is that political discussions so frequently end in arguments. Look at social media (aside from a forum such as this). I got off FB maybe 7 years ago because of that crap. Never got on Twister or anything else. Friends become enemies, you fight with people you’ve never met, etc. It gets ugly and dirties the atmosphere of the forum.

    But I can see where a brief note of explanation could be helpful.
