    My first 4runner was totaled when a drunk, uninsured illegal immigrant crossed over the center line and hit us head on. My wife was 8 months pregnant at the time. No injuries.

    And yeah, keep right except to pass. Use your mirrors and let the faster car go on by. Don't try to pass three cars at once if someone is trying to pass you. Also, cruise control is fine when there's no traffic. Pay attention, adjust your speed as conditions change. Please and thank you.

    Maybe "reckless" is the wrong term. Cali drivers drive fast but are skillful. They know HOW to drive interstates (or, at least they used to know how!). Drove there for 30+ years (left for NorCal @ age 50)
